From this you can safely conclude that very few successful streamers are actually applying to Niji and Holo. There is no incentive to join the black companies.

It seems that if you want an instant big success you need to follow the Gura or Desuwa formula. Pick a proven talent with a significant existing audience, then give them a new model with a really good design, and make sure to market them heavily. Elevating small talents is nice and all, but if they are not gonna generate as much hype.
