Maybe find a JP you like a lot to motivate you, pic related. I've been getting a lot of good writing practice during some streams done. I'll get there eventually.

Whenever I get stuck I focus more on writing or listening/talking since reading progress is slow.

Someone you like. After watching Chigusa try soooo hard to speak English in collabs it was so endearing to me that it motives me to try too. She will just keep trying to read and say things no matter what and I admire that. Sometimes I like to put on Chigusa and see what I can understand and occasionally look things up but not auto translate anything. She is playing some mobile game right now and I'm not totally sure whats going on but I got some of it.
