Yeah, not only that, but this was Dokibird's first scheduled stream and the very first time anyone would know when she would stream for several days in advance. The black screen's tweets went out around half an hour before it would air, timed for Doki's stream. After Doki's stream was delayed, the black screen stream was delayed too.
If you want to actually cry, try watching them at the same time and you can see when she starts getting messages from off camera via text or discord or whatever and starts stammering up until she finally gets a response from her lawyer and she ends stream.

The absolute saddest/craziest thing about all of this though is that if you actually pay attention to Doki's words before, during, and after that stream, Doki has NEVER directly mentioned Nijisanji as the cause for anything. It was never "Nijisanji bullied me to suicide." It was "It was buildup over multiple months that led to my breaking point." It wasn't "Elira and those fucks are lying about me right now." It's "I have heard slander and lies about me behind the scenes."
The blame was ALWAYS shifted inwards, as if she was constantly giving them outs by implying that her feelings about the situation are flawed and somehow it was her fault for responding to it the way she did.

The most insane thing of all though is that this is the "vanity project" that the nijisanji fans love to claim Nijisanji was justified in firing her over. Selen LOVED that company and was constantly organizing events and commissioning projects and assets for everyone to use out of her own pocket. She loved those damn idiots far more than they deserved, and still throws them the occasional olive branch to this day.

Pomu might've been the "biggest" girl by the end, but Selen had by far the most reach. She constantly reached out to as many people, companies, groups, events, tournaments she could possibly touch, and anyone who DID get contacted seemed to get charmed almost instantly by her passion and genuine kindness.
A funny thing about her being top 500 in overwatch and apex? She always mained support. Sisters joked that "charity" was her only personality trait, and to an extent that's true.

She loved to be seen as this kind of selfish, opportunistic brat, but her version of "selfishness" is to elevate everyone around her, rather than to bring others down and step over them. In nearly every single project she ever did, it was ALWAYS about other people, rather than herself. Every event celebrated the company or her community. Her "birthday concert" dedicated far more airtime to her guests than herself. Her fucking membership and voice pack images almost ALWAYS had a significant number of nijis with her, celebrating alongside her, often dwarfing her into just a corner of the frame, if she's even there in the first place. Every single event she organized, even if it didn't actually involve other people competing properly like wrestlesanji, always had cohosts, guests, etc. and she always gave THEM the spotlight.

Any person who met her directly either in chat or in person has fallen in love(platonically) almost instantly and eagerly wanted to work together again as soon as possible. Outside of Nijisanji, she constantly commissioned works for not just herself, but also to promote the community of artists and creators she's lovingly fostered. Many of her projects like the costume contest, birthday concert, or the MVs she worked on mostly existed as an excuse to reach out to more artists and reward them for what they were already doing.

And of all the fucking things they tried to pin on her, they tried to claim that this woman betrayed her "friends" and refused to pay artists for her own selfish desires. Fucking nobody who's ever watched or worked with her for a second could ever believe that.

...What monetary losses? She funded everything herself out of her own pocket, which would have brought in ad revenue and brand recognition without Nijisanji having to pay a cent. Elevating her career? Nearly all of her projects had far, far more appearances of other niji members to the point where she was barely noticeable. Several of her membership rewards didn't even HAVE her in it, and instead only had other organs.

Because it's not convenient for them. All of the statements was sort of slurred together between a few hours of crying and menhera freaking out at the idea of not being able to support all ruffians equally while also keeping up the pace they've had since debut. They'd have to download the 4-5 hour vod, then stitch together all of the very spaced out individual sentences in order to make something worth spreading without people actually sympathizing with them. They're terrified of the idea of not being able to please EVERYONE.

It reminds me a lot of the sisters calling Selen's video a "vanity project to stroke her ego" when the actual video looked like this.
