I played both EN and JP of RE8 fully and honestly I agree. I think the best example in the entire 8 are dialogues with the not-Magnetto guy. The Japanese version completely lacks the punch when MC returns the "your funeral" line as they finish the fucker off. JP dub is funny for weird "Japanese in totally not suited environment" joke but when it comes to delivery, at least in 8 it's as bad as old EN dubs of anime.

That's what I thought the last time it happened, but I had no useful ideas on how to solve some of the remaining, standing issues. My point is, rather than saying "it needs to be thought of", do the thinking and see if there's anything that can be done.

In my assessment, not without painfully changing how a lot of other things work or adding extra levels of gamification, which is just not necessary.
