Niggas, I live in Mexico, there's actual people here named after Anime characters, there's even a local Regidor named after a guy from Saint Seiya and a school teacher of my cousin is named Hotaru because of that sailor moon girl. Several young women I have known are named HEIDI. One young kid who lives near my workplace is called EREN ALEJANDRO, and apparently there's people naming their kids after fucking Demon Slayer characters, there's even an interview online were some guy in the mexican equivalent of whatever is the last grade before college said his legal name was GOHAN MARTINEZ and he showed his legal mexican ID, IT'S REAL. There is also a possibility a cousin of mine named his son after a werewolf from a videogame or was it a movie?
Really stuff like this only becomes bad if people willing to make fun of it. Which EN speakers seem to be masters of (bullying) somehow. But I guess stupidity has to be punished somehow even if that means punishing the victims by laughing at them. It is, unfortunately, fair enough.
