It's not about platform availability, it's about shutting down their expansion in Indonesia. cmiiw but niji ID is an independent subsidiary with its own management. Ceasing operation for independent regional subsidiaries and merging them as a business unit under the parent company signals to the world that they are getting out of that region's market. It's the complete opposite to any corporate expansion strategy and kills any future momentum for the region.
If I were management in 2017/2018, I would start nijiID as an SBU under nijiJP before expanding as a fully functional sub in a few years. Well, they got their foot wet by expanding to ID 2 years ago and now they want to pull out and place ID as an SBU under nijiJP? It's a complete braindead corporate devolution.
And here I thought they would use ID as a base for future SEA expansion, but I truly overestimated ichikara and Riku
