Like, this for example. Two paragraphs of RAMBLING prose that is borderline unreadable to end with a simple "Okay, now you understand what my life in St Petersburg is like" (which of course the author is incapable of conveying in such a concise manner and must instead write in a very flowery manner, which I have always assumed is a translation issue but mayhaps it is actually an issue inherent to the native Russian text.)
If somebody spoke to me like this I would probably walk away from them before they could finish their first paragraph of monologuing.
