I was sorta thinking about that the other day. Gura never had an idol journey. Not really, anyway. Or traditionally in any sense. From the moment she started, she was elevated into the spotlight and placed onto the altar. No room to spread her wings or experiment, just going along with what management wanted her to promote her as. At least, that's how it seemed like in the beginning.
And now we're here, almost 3 years later, and not much has changed. Gura's content hasn't changed, her singing ability, (which came as a massive surprise to me) never changed. It was always great. But it never evolved. It's always been the same. Her ideas and overall position as idol... Stagnated. It stagnated at the top of the fucking mountain.
I can't help but find a cruel irony in that.

You realise that people have been saying they're investigating him and that's why he was publicly suspended without stated reason right? That's the only rrat that makes sense, since if they're investigating him for something termination worthy they can't just have him go on "vacation" only to fire him when he gets back, people would get pissed. They also can't announce what they're investigating him for in case he didn't do anything, since that would hurt his image and practically amount to slander. Cover lives and dies by their talents image, so they don't go out of their way to hurt it, but they don't ignore problems either. This means they have three options

If they don't find anything he comes back and the faceless "management" takes the reputation hit for being too touchy, not a problem since managerial scarecrows in these kinds of jobs are used and built specifically for scapegoating all the time so talents don't take any hits. If they do, they issue a statement they "reviewed his behavior" and found breaches of contract, then graduate him most likely with a more concrete reason properly stated. This covers all their bases in an undesirable situation. This was pointed out to the /mans/ copers several times, but they just keep shoving cotton in their ears and screaming to drown it out. This would also explain why Regis, Altair, and Magni have been more or less fine and happy-go-lucky, though Magni being the one VERY on the defensive about it (He may have actually been told something on accident or otherwise), since they wouldn't want to say something like "He may have been sexually harassing people" as that would hurt the gen unity, and may also make the one harassed uncomfortable.
