That's the hard part, I can talk to people normally, but taking initiative is really hard and making friends is hard because I never initiate conversations if I do add them because I don't want to bother them and I'm used to just talking to my small group of friends I've had for years so introducing new stuffs to socializing routines is hard and scary

Hidden MMR and LP gains being FUCKED until recently is a good portion of the reason, losing 30 and gaining 15 made climbing absolute fucking ASS, which is why a fresh account with someone who played at a gold level would climb WAY faster and probably hit plat while someone playing at gold level but with an older main account was screwed because the game decided you didn't deserve more gains
Now that they normalized it more so there's no promos and you gains/losses are more balanced it's better, at least
Plus if you have shit MMR because you went on a loss streak, your teammates get worse and worse because you're being matched with players of lower MMR, so if you're in a streak and don't stop to chill and come back strong you're fucking yourself over (which I'm guilty of)
I'm stubborn though and want only one account, so I'm powering through, started stopping after I lose two in a row so I can come back fresh and keep climbing
