LUKNIGHT LORE SCRAP NORA!
One particular peculiarity of Luknight culture is in the particular way in which the peasantry holds itself, often times with highly dignified and disciplined principles. Many Bunaito farmers and lowborn men will not introduce themselves in the typical fashion of the Hololands, instead choosing to refer to themselves with a knightly title and their family house, as an example, a Lunaito by the name of Dondoro Bonbon might refer to themselves as, "Sir Dondoro of House Bonbon" despite being totally desitute save for a single shack which makes up the entirety of House Bonbon. The knights of these ignoble noble houses typically gain the title of knight through their profession instead of gaining it through any kind of martial service, though any knight is assumed to be able to provide for and protect their household against those who would threaten it. A travelling Luknight merchant might call themselves a knight of trails and trade while a Luknight sailor might call themselves a knight of salt and sea.
One particular profession Luknights tend to flounder in outside of their own borders is that of the knight of pots and pans. Luknight chefs tend to be exceedingly rare outside of the Candy Kingdom due to a condition known as Sweet Tongue which causes many Luknights to completely lose any sense of variety in how sweet any given dish is due to the large intakle of sugary sweets and candies in a Luknights diet; bceause of this condition Luknights have a tendency to pour large amounts of sugar into dishes which very much do not need it in order to, "salvage an already mediocre dish, nanora", the only real exception to this is Luknight takoyaki which is said to be universally appreciated as a classic cultural Luknight dish. In order for a Luknight to become a chef, they will often need foreign training under other culinary masters however once this training is completed a Luknight chef is said to stand next to none in the kitchen, often galvanized into pink whirlwinds of flavor and sugary delight. Luknight chefs are highly prized by nations such as /ag/, /mogu/, and /polka/. Any village that raises a chef holds the chef in question as a hero for all time and before these chef's depart to other nations, a feast of takoyaki is prepared for them to keep them well fed on their journey.
It is often said that Luknights inherited a cheerful and joyous love of festivities from their neighbors, the Matsurisu, however the strange and mysterious tension between the two nation is puzzling to both outsiders and inhabitants of both nations. While hostilities have never been raised on either side, the two nations rarely engage in diplomatic matters outside of purely formal gathering, none of which contain the same spirit that was said to run wild during a gathering of the Matsurisu and Luknights, known as the Festival Luna. One surviving relic of this long past time can be seen in the Takolauncher, a combination between Matsurisu pyrotechnics and Luknight takoyaki fueled ingenuity. It is unclear if the Takolauncher was ever utilized during an actual Festival Luna due to minor disagreements between the two nations regarding the proposed fuel for the Takolauncher being a powdered form of chuubanite, however it has been shown to be highly effective. The Takolauncher is composed of a large multi-rocket apparatus and several jumbo sized takoyaki balls that have had chuubanite fueled rockets placed carefully inside, these rockets would then be launched into the moonlit sky before bursting into an enormous spray of freshly cooked takoyaki across a mile radius, raining down onto those below. In tactical uses, this has been commonly used by Luknights in order to relieve villages and castles that suffer from food shortages during a prolonged siege, though bearing the armerment does tend to remind the Luknights of their once thriving friendshop with their senpai-nation causing a somewhat melancholic feeling to accompany the heroism.
