I wouldn't mind the East having a higher altitude. It's supposed to be pushed up by the holoplate after all. And since we would want it to have some steppes I think it can be pushed up a notch, the eastern plains should be around 1500-2000m in altitude. And I think the transition zone between the eatern and western parts can do with some more jagged terrain.
So if you take a slice in the middle of the country it kinda looks like picrel. (idk how to draw elevation maps)
Climate anons can the Western coast of the peninsula be more Mediterranean if there's a relatively tall mountain range in the middle? Or is it already there since it's drier?
