Take notes, people. This is why you do historical data analysis. This also allowed me to correctly predict this behavior since I noticed it pre-HoloX debut - a green week and then a crash of non-HoloX coins dividends that gradually recovered.
Indeed, there is a dividend 'cap' in the form of a total pool of money, although it seems to vary a bit with a two-digit standard deviation, likely as a result of rounding/code-to-nasfaq-numbers interactions. This type of noise can be seen throughout the market and is the reason why I think Civia doesn't adjust - I used to think that it adjusts by an insignificant amount. In order to fully test it, she'd need a subtick to see if she goes up or not.
Either way, this is the reason ROI% goes down - coin prices inflate, dividends stay the same... ish. Due to the way this attribution works, channels that grow in comparison to their peers will actually get an increased slice of the pie.
