I've always loved the way that transition between Everything Counts and Whoracle. It's such a little thing but it gives such a nice jump off point for the launch into how epic and primal that song is. The choral lines and percussion bring to mind visuals of rough surf crashing on a rocky beachhead. Yet also a pitched, fated battle. I've thought before that if Layna were to appear as a hidden boss in a videogame, it would be perfect as her anthem.
