A long, LOOOOOOOOOONG time ago i used to watch rwby (season 4 had just premiered). It was a decent distraction and a friend of mine told me that "fanfics where better than the real thing".
At that time, it was a hyperbole he used to diss the show. Over the years it became true, and so every week i've been reading a bunch of rwby fanfics written by one guy who pretty much despises the current rwby and just uses the setting and characters from the first 4 or so seasons to make what ifs or downright insert said characters into his own little stories

I have SOME issues with it but i liked the chapter, specially LuiI feel like the tone jumps a bit too much and the scalation of the scene with irys is...welll..not great. Personally, as someone who engages with a lot of passionate fans (autists) they have this phase of going "NO! YOU DONT GET IT!" before actually getting mad at you, so i think that's whats missing in the scene: A bit where Irys thinks anon doesnt get how important this is rather than her going "oh you are just like Fauna"
still, that ending and the reveal have me hooked. Keep the good work

I get how you feel..but at the same time think of yourself from the time before you knew the internet.
When i first came across Inflation and similar stuff i remember getting genuinely scared at the thought of someone liking it because my brain was still linking it to what was real in the realm of possibility.
