I actually keep track of the threads as a neat little side hobby, and it's completely subjective, but I'd say you have to measure it by two different standards:
>How good is a thread
>How bad is a thread
And you have to understand that these things exist in parallel. A thread can be both good and bad at the same time, because retards can and will post at the same time as good people are talking and posting. That's how we can get threads where people will say
>this thread is fucking garbage
>what do you mean, this has been great, what are you seeing?
>you must be fucking blind then, because I only see garbage
