SOME people won't be good to help, but a lot of people will be completely fine and welcoming of it. The point is that you can't be a fool who goes through life without thinking about this stuff, or just following an extreme based on an emotion.
The opposite of this, helping nobody and refusing to be kind out of a fear of being taken advantage of, will lead to just as bad of a conclusion. If you were to ever be in a time of trouble, and desperately needed help, you will have doomed yourself. Nobody will want to help a person who has only ever been bitter to them, and the only people who would end up giving a helping hand would be exactly the same fools who I warned about in the first place. And then, because of your desperation and inherent feeling of "people will only screw over those who offer kindness," you will BECOME the desperate man who drags the kind one down, dooming you both.
You can't fall into an extreme on base instincts or reactions. They only offer doom.

Think of it this way, anon.
Even if the man doesn't, or never learns, there are a thousand lurkers who will take the message to heart. When they become posters in their own right, they'll take those lessons to heart.
If you don't take the time to show the best qualities, then they'll only learn the worst qualities. And if I can show even a single person the way to a good discussion, it'll be worth it.

I don't feel very different, but for some reason, it just hit me today that even though we haven't changed much, our homeland changed. Maybe it's because of all the country shitposting this thread.
Isn't it odd, and kind of nice, to have a new homeland? One we've helped shape in our own way? Hell, we even wiped out the natives after the Citrus Genophage.
