Vintage Story has a complex and slow progression, with tons of crafting mechanics with the depth of something like Space Station 13. You'll spend a lot of time looking shit up (and getting out of wolf-induced deathloops), but you'll get hooked if you put in the time to learn it's mechanics. We've been playing for ~3 days now and still aren't even on the copper-tier, it's that complex.
