The thing is I'm not even sure if I'd add the cheating thing to begin with, it was just another possible point of conflict. The main theme throughout the story would be the insecurity and uncertainty of Anon and Ayame.

>I just can’t get it to work in my head.
Honestly? Neither can I, at least not with the current layout. The main problem with what I have now is that during the boat ride it was made really clear that they're into each other and nobody else, so for Anon and Ayame to start being insecure all over again would seem like they're going back on that character development if I don't do it carefully. I did tease a sequel in the epilogue with the in-laws though, so scrapping the whole uni (and action-drama) thing I might be able to make something shorter that involves you gaining her parents' favour and making them reconnect with their daughter.
>Besides, no male should ever take a cheating bitch back, even if she’s rrat!Ayame.
If she walked up to another man, fully sober, and said "wanna fuck?" then yeah, obviously. I'd planned for it to be *almost* fully out of her control, bordering on rape, but only happened because of Ayame's stupidity and Anon gets pissed because she let herself get into a situation like that to begin with.
>kill off the Ayame relationship right at the start
Nahh... I quite like them together. I don't think anyone could compete with the slut's power level.
>Look, I’m not saying you couldn’t make a sequel work - you certainly got the talent for it. Would it be as good as the first part though? I doubt it. You can only make a quirky couple weirdly fall in love once, after all.
You're probably right, besides the talent part. I was thinking it'd be more about Anon and Ayame getting used to being together after the honeymoon phase is over rather than falling in love twice, but it definitely wouldn't have the same magic unless I pull gold outta my ass. The cast of Our Cures are probably the characters I've enjoyed writing the most out of any I've breathed life into, so of course I'd love to keep exploring them, but it makes just as much sense to let them rest as it does to write a sequel. I'd hate for them to overstay their welcome, so I might leave them alone and let Anon and Ayame enjoy their happily ever after together. A quick, daily life short of the couple wouldn't be out of the equation though, and they're 100% turning up in an extended cameo.

Hrm... You think?

I'm glad I added to your motivation, more Ayame is good. I'd love to see whatever it is you're working on.
