thanks for hanging out tonight! i'm not very good at these games but i want to get better, especially playing and talking to people at the same time. there's some things i want to try to do as a streamer for new years goals, both in content and general streamer improvement. i'm a little nervous for group karaoke tomorrow but also excited that i get invited to do that with people in the first place

my paycheck job and trying to get stuff ready for Saturday have been keeping me really busy unfortunately. i'm going to see if i can get something up and running in a little bit because i passed out early last night and ended up having two nightmares again but not the awkward kind and they fit into the spooky season so i sort of feel like talking about them over somelike like Spooky's Jumpscare Mansion or LSD Dream Emulator

the model thing is tough for me. i do like that making new assets myself for it is easy enough to do and a unique art style (compared to standard((?)) looking v-tube models) is nice.
however this model was supposed to just be a stand in for me, but my friend sort of gave up on working on my 'real' version. she's not as much as a weeb as me, which is why i'm working with the more tumblr sort of aesthetic. beggars can't be choosers in that regard however, and buying a 'real' model is way out of my budget. those tend to cost more than what i pay for rent. between my boss forgetting to send my paycheck and how little it is to begin with, there is absolutely no way i could afford one. that and i'm not sure what kind of art style i would want. there's a professional art buddy i know through discords that i might get a 'proper' model from to use for a very special outfit redeem in the future, though it means i'm going to have to work out payment plans to get it done. luckily i can rig stuff on my own and drawing outfits aren't too bad usually, so i've been able to get by with most everything so far being free aside from emotes and me paying back my art mama friend with making her dinner and driving her around places. it's tough and for the moment i am a little bit stuck with what i got, but i'm going to do my best to make it work as much as i can.
