Remember that bakery business I wanted the survivors to start in /inf/? Yea, I would be moving it to the Republic. Hoomans I would need you opinion on whether you would be ok this as well. Basically we would be starting a bakery business from scratch, eventually expanding into restaurants, cafees and production facilities as well, and opening branches over the vast majority of the holocontinent. I feel that is a good way to represent the scattering of sanallite culture over the other generals.
A particular endgoal of this, tho that would be left up to their rep, would be for that conglomerate to eventually help fund the creation of /cope/ (technically, the general started about 2 weeks before the announcement, so this would be bending the timeline a bit. It's why it would be left up to their rep if they want to include us in or we come in as a later investor)

Ok, so I'll make my stance clear on this, and this also extends to all the other reps: I would like a period of where I can settle down and really get the nation on the paper, before starting any foreign relations. I will wait for the provinces to be done before I even make a map, which I consider the most basic of basics. So, while I am sure it's exciting to have a neighbour after a long while Hoomans, gimme just a bit more, onegai!
I would imagine we would be on very friendly terms, however, as Baemei is one of the two most prominent ships in the thread. And as for the temples, for now I will say just the "standard" buddhist temples you usually see in anime and manga, except these would be larger complexes, accomodating sometimes hundreds of monks. Unironically, Kung Fu Panda might be a nice reference for the general settlement aesthetic I would like for us, specially Panda village.

The map and the borders, as it currently stands, are terrible. The aim of the Province system is to free up space, something that we desperately need, as shown by the /mans/ and /mhm/ timeloops, as well as provide more freedom for new reps.

With this system, any nation that does not have a rep or relevant lore would be deleted from the map, it's current lands being split up into smaller provinces. Those provinces can then be selected by any future rep that comes along, and a national border would be then set, after a vote. The exact number of provinces that a rep could choose is still up for debate, but I think both me, Mountain and Deadbro aim to make the overall size of the countries smaller, to accomodate any potential extra generals that might come in the future.

The other reason, as I stated, is more freedom. I personally hate the whole Holocontinent/Nijicontinent split, and with this idea, new reps would not be bound by those imaginary borders. If a new niji rep comes in and wants a small spot next to /who/ for example, he can get it. He would have to give good reasoning for it, and the thread would still vote on it in the end, but he could be placed there.

I also feel like this (inb4 going behind everyone's back again!) should first be discussed between us 3(yes, I am pulling you into this deadbro) since we are the ones that talked about it the most. Then, when we are happy with the map, have all the reasons for each nation getting deleted documented as well as some ground rules for the future regarding the unrepped nations and how to interact with them, we can present the proposal to the thread to discuss. I feel like this will be better than just throwing out random fragmented ideas over time. Let everyone see the full picture we strive for and go from there.

We would be introducing a literal demigod into the setting, and that would be too overpowered, no matter how small we might be. It was meant as a narrative device and an explanation to how we got here, and nothing more. Honestly regret ever bringing it up in the first place...

Alright, so their stay in /mans/ would go something like this:

The group would be welcomed at the royal capital, and introduced into the military academy. For the next 6 weeks they would learn the basics here. Handling of different weapons, formations, information on different fauna and monsters they might encounter on their stay on the island, they would have their fitness evaluated, all that sort of stuff.

Once they "graduated" from the Academy (to graduate for real, they would need to attend it for a few years, this is a top of the line establishment that trains future commanders of the nation) their group would venture out into the wastelands, accompanied by a squad (usually 5-6) of seasoned adventurers, with at least one scout Axelotl, and a commanding officer, in most cases an Altventurer.
This is where the real experience begins.

The main focus of the practical part would be "Survival"

The group would, for the most part, live off of the land and explore various different areas, helping at any settlement they might come across. They would escort caravans that traverse this dangerous land, and at times uncover and dispose of growing settlements of schizos or other various monsters. They would learn to use all they have at their disposal to survive, even making makeshift weapons if need be and using their environment to help solve problems. And yes, if survival meant consuming the flesh of monsters or even schizos, then so be it.(Lusquires would, however, be observed on their reactions if/when faced with such an option, and peculiarities would be noted. A cannibal soldier/adventurer can bring discourse and danger to the whole of the group, if left to his own devices).
Long story short, we would try to prepare them for anything that might arise on their journey, be it treacherous environment or endless hordes of enemies, starvation or exhaustion.

At the end of the year-long trek around the island, they would for all intents and purposes be on the same level as experienced adventurers that could be assigned to various regions of the island.

They would come to us Lusquires, but would leave the island Lumen.

This, however, might be a bit of a problem. If you really aren't sure what to do with them, I would suggest either lurking some more to see if any ideas come to mind or just selecting a theme that you think would fit them and research that (movies are a great way imo)

The important people care not for it. We are, ignoring the schizos, THE MOST unity thread on this entire board. As long as you contribute to the project and have fun doing so, you will fit in just fine, no matter who you like.

Only with the people that never contributed to the project in the first place, and even they don't have that much of a problem with 2434, it's the adorable french loli running the nation they have a problem with. You must have met her already, her name's Alice. Wonderful girl, a true kusogaki at heart.
What you really need to worry about is making your nation have an identity first. If what you decide to do might make working with nijis harder, due to whatever in-world reason, then so be it. If what you decide to do would make you best friends with the nijis, then so be it. The important thing, at least in my opinion, is to have fun with the project. Making a good nation is secondary to that. Still important, mind you, but having fun is even more so.
