Anon posted their live audience
>pic related
It seems they’re HolostarsJP sized, with Pippa being Roberu sized and the rest, Aruran sized.
Is there really anything to “bounce back” for them?

>But that's hardly exclusive to vtubing, so I don't know why you're talking about it.
It's a reflection about the current state of the fandoms (in general) and this board (in particular).
Take Phase Connect, for instance.

For a while there it looked like Pippa, by virtue of being a self admitted Hololive fan (or at least saying she was), would be "in the good graces" of the Hololive crowd (both the regular one and the "rowdy" one, /here/).
But both their "phase invaders" (which more or less changed their internal culture) and their "/here/" audience managed to attract an antipathy so deep towards their company that it is even disproportionate to the number of fans they actually have.
Based on how much ruckus they make in this board you would think Phase Connect overall audience would be on par with NijiEN, VShojo and HoloEN but, in reality
>it's the Pippa show feat. thirteen other (at their strongest) HolostarsJP sized chuubas

I can genuinely see a counterfactual timeline where Phase was smart with their hires, tardwrangled Pippa's audience better and the doors for her to be considered a peer to (let's say) Kiara and Pomu would be open.
Instead, right now, Phase in general and Pippa in particular are treated by the overall Hololive audience the same way Veibae was treated back when Holos were planning their collab with VShojo:
>as an absolute leper, whose mere presence can ruin what would be a pleasant experience with anybody else

It's not just Phase tho, anon here >>50624302 puts it well: AkioAir managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
They had snagged Athena, a girl beloved by the Haachama audience for doing an amazing song for their oshi, and with Haachama absent they could really use someone to watch on their now free time.
Instead their CEO got cocky, decided to put a
>we will be just like Hololive, except we won't be a black company and sinophobe like they are
"about us" material and anons in this very thread, in this board made it a point to let the whole audience know what they were about (and it sank their boat before it even sailed).

Long story short: it's a bad long term strategy to antagonize Hololive or the Hololive audience.
Be it vtubers, companies or their audience, they won't even know what they lost until they realize they're cordoned off (like Veibae and her collab with Myth that never was)
