Ignoring that she doesn't fit the "theme" of vshojo at all, does vshojo even scout talent? I thought everyone in it already had a sizable enough audience to carry them independently when they joined. It feels like more of a clout-check cool kids club than the type of org that scouts un-partnered streamers on the rise

I don't think she intended anything by it, but most of these are weird for anyone that isn't a really popular "unapproachable" sized streamer, since most indies will thank you on stream or send you a nice note regardless of how you rank among other viewers. my guess is that she got the idea from watching someone else do it and didn't realize that it doesn't really work the same on a smaller scale.
