I can't wait to hear all about this totally real career workshop you attended in France. I hope for your sake you weren't lying because it's going to come across really suspicious if you can't prove or don't even try bringing up the workshop you said you were attending.
I mean it just doesn't make a whole lot of sense for you to pay all that money for a flight to France (and back) or wherever you flew to just to attend career workshop that will likely do less for your career than if you just signed up for one in the United States.
Nothing quite adds up so I hope you can explain in adequate detail why you really took this break, where you were, and what you were actually doing during your time off.
