Subjectively, if you actively choose to be a part of any organization that'll ship you away from you away from your wife/husband for years at a time then you deserve to get cheated on. Doubly so if you're in the military without a draft because that adds a significant chance unless they're Chair Force they won't come back the same, if they do at all, for years and years on end.
