You'd be surprised at how many ESLs cringe at vtuber content in their native language. The market for your native language might not be as big as you'd expect in general and the novelty can wear off quick.
The issue with starting out as a specific language vtuber is that your core fanbase might not stick around for English streams or might not mix well with English only fans.
