I actually realised people have aphantasia before learning the word, I asked a friend to try and imagine 1, 10, 20, and 30 pennies individually moving in his mind, I told him I could get up to about 20 simple objects moving in detail and he could do about 10

Was trying to draw a hand without reference today and my mental image just broke down as I tried to figure out the spaces between fingers, but with the number of eyes I've drawn I could do those all almost second nature
