It works, but if you're trying to get a fullbody gen, you will typically get poor resolution even when at the highest base resolution and upscaling it. I've had best results with backwards engineering Minnas model to get nice head on bust up shots. Most vtubers will typically not use their entire model anyways so I think its worth the trade off for higher level of detail.
