I think it started with the "drilling" incident, and then some discord member made a discussion thread on the discord talking about how they were concerned about how sus twitch chatting is and how it's alienating new viewers and blah blah blah theres a bunch of back and forth.
Vedal then talks about it during his dev stream, and said he will do something about it
Fishing stream comes around, and anything lewd/moderately suggestive is now met with a timeout.
Also the Zentreya collab might've been apart of the thing too with the booba emote spam
