True, I didn't expect it as well. So fast, too. I think some credit can be given to the management for pairing them up together and Shiraken for the constant group collabs, but the closeness right now is mostly because of Suityan. Writing Miko's name as the person she best gets along with is what really kicked it off iirc, since Miko was overjoyed as hell about that.

Suityan put it best when she said it took them 2 years of squirming bashfully until they closed the gap. I feel like Suichan made things easier for Miko to approach her, since she's well aware of Miko's introvertedness irl (her first impression of Miko was that she was bad at communication コミュ障). Miko has said a couple of times that Suisei is easy to talk to and, in the compatibility stream, Miko says that she gets drawn to Suisei's positivity. In fact she gets drawn to Suisei a lot in general.
