For a few years she was working a regular 9 to 5 at Twitch, then streaming from 7:30 to 12:30, 5 days a week.
The main reason she did this was to afford to buy a house, but, if I've got the timeline right, she only quit once her model was paid for and nearly complete.
For a lot of /ligs/, vtubing seems to be their life-plan, but this is sort of a semi-retirement for Limes, which is probably why she doesn't feel as much pressure to chase the spotlight as some vtubers do.
