The editor is nice too, for shits and giggles I ditched the tutorial to try and figure out how to do animated sprites and was able to do it with just the documentation alone.

Day 3 of learning Godot
Not a lot of tangible progress but three tutorials from now I'll know how to "destroy" enemy nodes when they're shot and I'll be able to use that in the arkanoid game.
