We have finally arrived at a port settlement of the Risuners, and have been well-greeted by the local population, who have allowed us to set up camp just outside.

Our crew contains mostly members of the royal Lu-navy (a few lewd Bunaitos among them... they said it was important research for their barbeque sauce recipes), but also some appraisers, researchers, and diplomats. I, for one, hope these writings will one day appear in the Great Library of Gugulu, where our blessed Himesama will gaze upon it and giggle... Such a siren song for a luknight.

So far, the local population has been receptive to our gifts of sugar, coating and then roasting their nuts. They are not Lumans like us or most of our surrounding nations, but have squirrel-like features. I am wary, though, of their repeated asking for the opal gemstone within my armor, the sign of many years of good service to the crown. I doubt they could remove it, but I would be deeply shamed were it to go missing. Perhaps I should cover it with a cloth as I continue here...
