Global doesn't actually have that much lore aside from ideas that have been floated around, but it's not like any split has to answer to global or anything, and there's a bit of hostility from some splits to global as is the case of /ggg/.
Basically, not really my thing to decide, we don't really answer to global, nor does any other split I think. And global itself doesn't really care for any of the splits.
