I can sing, or at least so I've been led to believe (or I've been lied to this whole time), was a soloist in one of my university's acapella groups. I just don't really do it now because I live in an apartment complex with boomer neighbors.
But yeah, I dunno, maybe if I just said "fuck it" let loose just the one time for the sake of auditions... Once I've got my foot in the door (or if*), or if god help me I somehow wormed into being selected, I'd care a lot less because I'd definitely start looking seriously at moving to a home.
