Elira has ruined real women for me. I can pass off as a normal person when talking to others, but deep down I know that I can't feel anything for other people the same way I can for her. I'm afraid that even if I do get a GF, I'll be disappointed because she's not like Elira.

I used to be one of those schizos, but I kept it to myself. It's probably a combination of genuine mental problems + isolation caused by the pandemic. I used to fall asleep while imagining myself going out with the chuuba I was obsessed with at the time, and I made sure to catch most of her streams because it felt like someone was talking with and having fun alongside me. Having some sort of interaction made me unhealthily attached to her during the first months of the pandemic where I could go a day or two not talking with anyone aside from greeting my family if I saw them during the mornings. Sure, I chatted with IRL friends, but it wasn't the same as hearing someone talk to "you". I'm almost sure these people barely have any other sources of human interaction, and if they do, they prioritize the chuuba over that because they can't learn to distinguish that the streamer is talking to "chat", not them specifically.
I feel like the "You are a viewer.
Nothing more. Nothing less." take on things is a little nihilistic, but it's true that most of these people need a reality check on what human interaction is, because the streamer-chat dynamic isn't gonna get them e-girl pussy or a meaningful long-term relationship.

TL;DR: Isolation from the pandemic makes mental illnesses even worse/normal people more desperate for human interaction. People literally can't distinguish that the streamer is talking to chat and not them specifically.
