9/10 experience, would strongly recommend in the future if you can get in. A couple of technical issues and minor complaints, but having Ciel waving at me and being able to wave back was really fucking cool.

Despite the name, you can run VRChat in Desktop mode to attend, even if it's not the same as having VR for obvious reasons.

So the way they had it set up, VRChat has an instance limit of ~80 people and they capped it at 50 per instance, but had 12 instances for people to use that all filled up and waiting lines. They then pipped the data from each instance's visitors to a central server and then spawned ghosts in the rest of the maps that were following the movement of the people in the other instances, but at like 5 frames per minute, so you wouldn't have been able to see me since I assume the main PoV was in instance 1 and I wasn't. Was really cool for giving you a sense of being in a giant crowd, but also meant that you had people blocking your view like a real concert and worse, they can clip through you to do so.

I was bottom right in the frontish, so you might be able to triangulate me from the pics.

It does, but the audience models were super low poly and didn't have hands in their giant fucking sleeves, while Ceil wasn't even in VRC, I don't think, but instead was having her model controlled and played back through some wizardry. That being said, she certainly did have finger tracking.
