You know, I have to think that this was in the works LONG before today.
Like, Yagoo went to a bunch of cons in the US back in 2022 (there was that one time with the mag shirt as well) and people were wondering what they were up to, whether there was gonna be something planned.
CtW came out and people just assumed it was that, but I don't think Yagoo himself would need to scope shit out for that.
Office makes more sense.
They also operated at least half of 2023 with out the ass merch costs, which I don't think was in their original plans.

I think what happened was, along with omega, a bunch of EN management was also purged - and THIS is what caused dumb and dumber to leave, because the people that were let go were close to them, and were the ones making unreasonable promises like "we'll fund all your Covers".
Explains Vesper getting suspended for it.
Explains the thing magni called "fucked up".
Explains all his "anger".
Explains Clown and Orange dog hinting at leaving for a while before getting tempted back in with 3D.

They TRIED to leech off EN already. EN HAD woke management for a long time.
It just took them a while to purge all of that.
This means Cover already KNOW the warning signs to look out for when hiring, and management reorganization and rehiring were also the reason the office was delayed for so long.
