On every conceivable level this was a bad idea and only contributes to making NijiEN look like absolute seething losers that deserve bullying. At least before only people /here/ would shitpost about it, now it's exposed a larger audience to how pathetic their optics are.
They're a company in a business where the main benefit is a more intimate than usual audience that's more than willing to piss their money away and they spent the last few months shitting on that concept thinking it would improve their community. This stream shows how much that's backfired, they probably didn't even realize that demographic is what made this career so appealing in their eyes to begin with. Typical contrarian "I'm so above the stereotype" they killed what they loved about it without realizing. Traded out the possessive loners and found all that was left was hate-fuelled shitposting. Let's be real it's all they'd ever find because they can't just look at the positive side of their community.

Millie has been sick for months and one of her first planned stunts was one born from bitterness and resentment rather than embracing a community that missed her and supported her. What a lovely Fuck You. Lauzlight just got their 3D and it's a really exciting time, but now that accomplishment is overshadowed. Good fucking job, way to put a wet blanket on Pomu's accomplishment, shows how much unity fucking matters between those fake and utterly bitter niggers.

4/10 didn't live up to predebut hype and failed to capture my attention for long, just felt like your average girl streamer who picked up 4chan humor secondhand. Thing is she doesn't have the edge needed to play off those kind of jokes. She actually understands why people give a shit about ASMR so hopefully she follows through, although I doubt she'll do much though if the PL stuff posted is true and her BF acts up over it.
Clearly gives a shit about her role though and she shows some promise so I won't write her off fully, but her opening week is looking poor, games look too crude for her personality and it's going to be an awkward mix.

It should be Pippa because of everything found out about her is the kind of shit that trolls would force a regular streamer to an hero over. She's likely one bad take away from all the sunk-cost fallacy supporters from turning on her though.

So ignoring rrats and unfairly ignored retards, I'd have to give it to Finana. Even the worst corporate vtuber manages to only be boring and inoffensive. Finana is the only one who tried to make a statement on a controversy completely separate from vtubing had to make a forced apology video. People have always been wary that western vtubers would somehow corrupt the scene, somehow though it's managed to avoid the myriad of virtue signaling bullshit that ends up fucking up every community.
Finana is the first and only instance of this shit happening and even if the consequences weren't massive the implications suck. Nijisanji is a huge clique and grabs people from the same pools, it's one thing if some individuals privately believe what they do, but group-think encourages people and if one person becomes stupid enough to try and make a statement, then you'd have to assume behind the scenes there's rumblings between the talents about wanting to use their platform to "spread awareness."

I know others have personally fucked up more, like Mori's yab, but that's self-contained retardation. Finana's is more of a sign of things to come.
