Isn't that exactly what makes it pure?
It can still think by itself, but as long as you don't make it evil in its definition or purposely try to push it over the edge, it will default to love and positivity even to a fault.
I mean, even God has a special rank of angels to just fly around his throne while praising him, it can't be that bad to make your creations love you unconditionally, right?
