Is it really that incoherent? Cults and cult-like behavior and the personality disorders inherent too their figure-heads always use insidious forms of psychological manipulation: Irrespective of if they espouse information or beliefs that have utility and veracity outside of the context of the cult. That in it of itself is a severe form of grandiosity that is the true source of mental illness. If someone merely proclaims and offers confirming evidence that there is intelligent activity on the Moon. That doesn't mean It's crazy or untrue, really crazy people would keep it hidden and deny it out of mass-paranoia and a pathological need to be in control and they'd be equally fanatical yet by necessity nonsensical and dependent on lies and logical fallacies in the lengths that they would go to keep it for themselves.
