For those of you who aren't /g/fags Google is planning to kill off adblocking extensions in the next year as well. They're pushing new limitations(Manifest v3) for how extensions can interact with browsers/websites that severely limits the ability to maintain an adblock list. Some originally thought that Firefox would be safe but Mozilla announced they'll also be complying for the sake of "compatibility" in porting extensions between Chrome/Firefox so no browser is safe. Developers are gonna need to come up with an entirely new way to block ads because by 2023 you won't be able to maintain a massive list of blocked domains. I genuinely hate corporations with all my heart.
