Na, just had a bunch of vertical narrow panels kinda like pic related, but held single threads / sites in a column.
Fetched stuff off APIs or downloaded entire pages if they had none.
This userstyle here can be collapsed down to one column. I use it whenever I am reading large quick threads, but it's not really useful here as you can imagine. It's not perfect though, this is just the CSS side of things it can't handle embeds, quote previews or the like, that needed JS to fix. Also, large posts get scrollbars. I also have an image / video only view when I don't give a flying monkeys fuck about text posts.
I used Autohotkey to send hotkeys to the webpage to move certain panels, change to other panels, etc. all without losing focus of a game.
Also wrote a simple tiling window manager in it to organize all the windows very easily.
Drive died and I lost it. RIP.
