Someone just needs to be the "first" to do it and it is likely to be Tob and Zum. Which will hopefully be a really good stream that others (Tob has a ton of other chubbas in her chat) will try to replicate.
Either way, even if they just fuck around with retro (collab) stuff off stream I'll take that as a win. Most new games suck and the monetization models are miserable. More people should see that there is another way to do things and that "AAA" game companies didn't used to be total garbage. I just like seeing people enjoying weird retro games (hopefully not a platformer), it's a bonus if they do it with other people in the scene at the same time.
