Tomatoes are fruit. All berries are fruit.
They're just called called vegetables in the context of cooking since they're less sweet than most other fruit and are primarily used in savory dishes.
Irregardless of what a tomato is, a watermelon is a fruit under any definition. Them being berries makes them fruit. Them not being fruit because tomatoes also are berries and sometimes incorrectly called vegetable is the biggest and most retarded leap of logic I have seen in quite some time.
