Not really, here is one chart to shed light on it

NijiEN had a STEEP drop when iLUNA debuted and if I can put forward a theory, that would be what you said

but given the coincidence with iLUNA debut, it could as well be a segment of the audience dropping out because of too much acceleration.
With that said, their numbers (without iLUNA and xSoleil) were rock solid stable from October 10 to January 10 and only started to fall a little bit more now, remaining stable even in the aftermath of xSoleil debuts.

Based on these charts I say iLUNA debuts had a bigger impact on nijiEN than anything else.
