Key differences with MJS
- Urban aesthetic instead of Shrine aesthetic
- Different selection of characters, particularly fewer males
- Gives you the opportunity to earn a free outfit and a 2nd set of emotes for the starter loli character
- Option to show tsumogiri tiles, just like SegaMJ and Konami Fight Club, but you can disable this in the options.
- Automated tournament feature with prizes, so you can join a tournament every week without needing someone or an organization to host one.
- More generous with rolls, gives you at least 3 every week, really trivial to earn them as long as you can play a couple of games everyday. And this doesn't include whatever rolls you can earn during events. I've been saving them up since I started and I have around 200+ now just waiting for a character or collab that I really really want.
- Devs seems to put more effort into the event special game modes.
- Emotes are animated
- On-demand voicelines that you can play like emotes (MJS doesn't have this)
- All characters have win animations
- All characters are animated
- Ranked system is fight for 1st and 2nd place, though finishing 3rd is still way more preferable than finishing 4th
- Multiple events can be running at the same time (can be good or bad depending on you)
- Servers are not segregated by region, so you will be playing against everyone else right from the start
- Easier to contact the devs to give feedback or if you need something fixed on your account
- Gift codes are also not limited by region so no matter where you are, if they put out a gift code, you can redeem the items from it
