I like battops, but, I can see people not liking them especially if they didn't really bump into the old Wico style stuff on like MvC2 and such waywayway back in the day. I Like balltops too but I go for the oversized ones because I've got larger hands and I'm heavy handed when I play, so, heavy grommets for K-levers and stiff switches if I can find them. Heavy springs for the J-levers something 4-5lbs for a JLF or LS-32.
Most of the current K-levers have normal threaded tops so you can pick whatever you like.
