I haven't posted on this board in over a year . It's good to be back. I think she should really do something meta. She's been scarily obsessed with idols for almost 20 years and counting. She should do some niche super huge project where she orates the entire history of akb148 with autistic accuracy. She became my oshi slowly but surely and is (was) the only vtuber i followed after 2022. She reminds me of a dragon with how many lives she has lived. And finally sturck gold with Pomu able to support herself with her inherent autism for niche topics. Yet at the same time she comes off as socialble and is able to interact with humans better than most of her contemporaries. I say indie vtuber. She's too good for phase connect and vshoujou really doesn't seem to be a forever home for her. Hololive is out of the question but theyre plateauing anyway. It's foolish to think she has a chance but that doesnt matter . Pomu in hololive would be casting pearls before swine. And i feel like it's time she enters a more stable era of her otakudom. She honestly is perhaps the most legendary "been there done that years before anyone else did" vtuber there is. Dont believe me ? Will i still get b& for mentioning she was literally one of /us/ on /b/ so many years ago that most of her audience was in elementary school when she had begun her first steps as an internet presence in the otaku/weeb sphere. She referenced akb even back then so she really has a lifelong passion for japan that will never go away. There are teenagers who watched pomu who were not yet born when she was posting on this website that even i myself have only been on for 12 years now. It inspires me to be honest.
so yeah Pomu should just go indie and market herself everywhere and mayhe she can become one of the hugest indies to ever do it. I believe in her. I know she will do something interesting no matter what. Just a matter of when.
