This is the line gaijin will never get.
Japanese work teams would skip their firstborn's graduation to finish a project because not showing up to work is rude even if your mother is in the ICU. Imagine if your shift manager coaxing you into coming in saturday because "well you dont want your partner to have to do all of this alone right? :(" was actually every single coworker in your company.
If you, an accountant, get a bad reputation for something completely unrelated to your work, you will be practically forced to quit your job, so as to not carry that reputation to your company.
Aloe 'bringing antis to hololive' and therefore having to leave Cover is what you're supposed to do in japanese culture. Its not a necessarily moral failing on the antis' part or a bad thing for Cover or hololive as a brand. Quitting is what Aloe should have done, because she "got antis" (like you'd get lice) so the obvious next step is to just quit.

To some degree, japanese nationalism is the reason Coco is still in hololive. If the antis had been korean or japanese she would've been made to quit streaming. In fact if antis had just skipped the taiwan part entirely she'd be out.
