Wut, of course there was an objective metric to show just that, it was even posted in this thread multiple times.

Not a week ago this table was posted with the median of peak CCV for the (then) past 365 days. Look at who's at the top.
But, again, the reason is the difference between Pekora (a daily streamer) and Marine (an occasional one).
Marine can pick and chose content to her strength, as she doesn't need to do it on a daily basis. Pekora doesn't have that privilege.

1) Marine leads the chart thanks to a very consistent and very strong Q3 and Q4 least year, and the benefit of rarity in 2022 keeping her numbers always at a high level
2) Nji Main channel and Pekora follow, completing the Top 3 and the 30k+ group
3) Toya and Kuzuha complete the Top 5
4) Aqua, Miko, Subaru, Gura and Suisei complete the Top 10, with Suisei being the only to fail to be in the 20k+ by a short margin
5) 26 channels make the 10k+ group
6) The top 50 has 33 Hololive channels (8 EN, 1 ID), 14 Nijisanji channels (2 EN) plus Gatchman (Indie), Hal (in the period, Indie -> merise -> Neo Porte) and Tamaki (NoriPro)
7) 7k doesn't put a channel in the Top 50, with Towa trailing the list with 7.2k
8) Gatchman is the highest ranked Indie, with a massive 9.7k median
9) There is at least one of each JP gen (0-6, Gamers) in the top half of this table.
